Here's a couple of useful tips that most people aren't aware of!
If you want to know the time anywhere in the world, Google can tell you. Just search for it like this:
"what time is it new york" and voila, it'll tell you!
It can also do conversions - not just of measurements like "38 degrees celcius in farenheit" but also of distance, cooking measures and currency. Try this one: "100 US dollars in Australian dollars".
And my very favourite - the negative search term. Lets say we're searching for information about the city of Paris. Inevitably, information will pop up about "Paris Hilton". You can ensure this doesn't happen by putting a minus symbol in front of her name. Don't forget to put inverted commas around the search term if there is a space in it.
For example: paris -"paris hilton" - that read as "search for Paris but remove any reference to "Paris Hilton".
How easy is that!
